Opening Shade Bishop Kalu School

GEF opened during their visit in April the new shade at the Bishop Kalu School. We realized this beautiful shade with the support of the community and some gifts of our loyal sponsors.

The shade is big and substainable and will be used for all sorts of activities , such as weddings, church services but mainly for giving education in a nice cool atmosphere.
For all the children and the community from the Bishop Kalu School as well as for us it was a very special day which we celibrated on the Kenian way!
Girls Empowerment Foundation gave all the children a tshirt, biscuits, limonade and a new pen. The kids and the community thanked us by lots of dances and music!
